How much money do I need to invest in Industrial Property?

There are Industrial Properties for sale in Sydney for around $400,000, which is much less than you’ll pay for a residential property. Typically you will need at least a 35% deposit, which is around $140K.

What's the difference between Industrial Property and Commercial Property?

Industrial Property refers to ‘industry’, that is factories and warehouses, whereas Commercial Property refers to ‘commerce’, that is shops and offices. Another way to think of it is if the public are able to freely access the buildings, then it is probably commercial or retail real estate.

Is the Apprentice Program right for me if I only have a small amount of cash available to invest?

Every situation is different. If you have a good track record with your bank and can show a steady income you may still qualify. This program is about investing and building an industrial property portfolio so you will need some money to invest to begin with. I’d be happy to chat to you to see where you stand.

Are there different types of Industrial Property?

Yes there are 2 zoning categories when it comes to Industrial Property. I concentrate on Industrial 2 type properties which include warehouses and light manufacturing.

Do you only invest in Sydney?

I have investment properties in France, the US and Australia. I am currently living in Sydney and therefore I have an intimate knowledge of the market here. I do have contacts and advisors in other states I can access if required.
